My Wash is a car wash booking platform connecting customers with professional wash centers
across Kerala. We take your privacy seriously and only collect what we need to run the platform.
1. Who We Are
My Wash ("we", "us", "our") is operated from India. Our platform is available at mywashapp.in and via our mobile application. For privacy questions contact privacy@mywashapp.in.
2. Information We Collect
From Customers
- Phone number — account creation and OTP verification
- Name — displayed on your profile and bookings
- Location — to show nearby wash centers (with your permission)
- Vehicle details — type and number plate for booking purposes
- Booking history — services booked, dates, payment status
From Service Providers
- Phone number and name — account identity
- Shop name, address, location — for listing on the platform
- Shop photos — gallery images uploaded by you
- Business license number and PAN — for KYC verification
- Bank account details — for settlement payouts
- Operating hours — to show customers your availability
Automatically Collected
- Device token (FCM) — for push notifications
- App usage analytics — via Firebase Analytics (anonymised)
3. How We Use Your Information
- Creating and managing your account

4. How We Store Your Data
Your data is stored on Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Storage), hosted on Google's secure
infrastructure. Firebase is ISO 27001 certified and GDPR compliant.
Shop photos are stored in Firebase Storage. Bank details and PAN/license numbers are stored in Firestore with
restricted access rules. We do not store passwords — authentication uses OTP only.
5. Sharing Your Data
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these cases:
- Between customer and provider: Your name and vehicle details are shared with the service
provider when you make a booking.
- Payment processors: Bank details shared only for settlement processing.
- Legal requirements: If required by Indian law or court order.
- Firebase / Google: Our infrastructure provider processes data per Google's Privacy Policy.
6. Location Data
We request location permission to show you wash centers near you. Location is used only while you are actively
using the app — we do not track location in the background. You can deny location permission and still use the
app, without distance-based results.
7. Push Notifications
We send push notifications for booking updates, OTP codes, and occasional offers. You can disable notifications
in your phone settings at any time.
8. Your Rights
- Access: Request a copy of your data by emailing us
- Correction: Update your profile information within the app
- Deletion: Request account deletion by emailing privacy@mywashapp.in
- Opt-out: Disable notifications or location in phone settings
We will respond to data requests within 30 days.
9. Children's Privacy
My Wash is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by
email. Continued use of My Wash after changes constitutes acceptance.

1. About My Wash
My Wash is a technology platform that connects customers looking for car wash services with independent car
wash service providers ("Providers") in their area. My Wash does not provide car wash services directly — we are
a marketplace and booking platform.
These Terms govern your use of the My Wash mobile application and website at mywashapp.in.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use My Wash
- You must provide a valid Indian mobile number for verification
- Service Providers must operate a legitimate car wash business in India
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
3. Customer Terms
3.1 Booking
- Bookings are confirmed only after Provider acceptance
- You must provide accurate vehicle information at the time of booking
- Arrive on time for scheduled appointments; late arrivals may result in cancellation
3.2 Cancellations
- You may cancel a booking before the Provider has accepted it
- Cancellation policies after acceptance are set by individual Providers
- Repeated no-shows may result in account suspension
3.3 Payment
- Prices displayed are set by Providers and include applicable taxes
- Payment terms are between you and the Provider
- My Wash is not responsible for pricing disputes after booking confirmation
4. Provider Terms
4.1 Registration and Approval
- All Providers must complete identity and business verification
- Providing false information will result in immediate account termination
- Approval is at My Wash's sole discretion
- Minimum 3 shop photos are required for listing
4.2 Service Standards
- Providers must deliver services as described in their listing
- Providers are responsible for their own staff, equipment, and workspace safety
- Providers must maintain accurate operating hours on the platform
4.3 Payments and Settlements
- Earnings are settled to the bank account registered on the platform
- Settlement timelines are as specified in the Provider dashboard
- My Wash may deduct platform fees as communicated separately
4.4 Prohibited Conduct
- Accepting bookings outside the platform to avoid fees
- Misrepresenting services, pricing, or qualifications
- Harassing or discriminating against customers
5. Platform Rules for All Users
- Do not share your account credentials with others
- Do not use My Wash for any unlawful purpose
- Do not submit false reviews or manipulate ratings
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer or copy the platform
- Respect other users — harassment or abuse will result in permanent ban
6. My Wash's Role and Liability
My Wash is a marketplace platform. We are not responsible for:
- The quality of car wash services provided by Providers
- Damage to vehicles during servicing (disputes are between customer and provider)
- Provider cancellations or no-shows
- Losses arising from incorrect vehicle information submitted by customers
My Wash's maximum liability in any circumstance is limited to the value of the booking in question.
7. Intellectual Property
The My Wash name, logo, app design, and content are owned by My Wash and may not be copied or used without
written permission. You retain ownership of photos you upload; by uploading them you grant My Wash a licence to
display them on the platform.
8. Account Termination
My Wash may suspend or terminate your account without notice for violation of these Terms. You may delete your
account at any time by contacting support@mywashapp.in.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of
courts in India.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes through the app. Your continued use after
notification constitutes acceptance.
